The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WMU provides intellectual and cultural learning experiences for mature adults in an informal and stimulating environment. People with diverse backgrounds come together to share interests and/or to delve into new areas of exploration. Academy classes and activities are developed by its members with the support of the staff of Extended University Programs.
The Institute accepts donations to two funds: a scholarship fund and an operating fund.
- Scholarship Fund: The scholarship fund is made available to those who need assistance with paying fees for classes.
- Operating Fund: The operating fund supplements funding sources for operating expenses such as administration oversight, publications, clerical assistance and marketing.
Please consider making a donation of any size to one or both of these funds and join us in continuing to offer intellectual stimulation, personal growth, social engagement and enrichment to adults of all ages.
