A Blue Connection

A Blue Connection
Anyone tuning in to the NCAA Championship game should know by now that WMU, unfortunately, will not be making an appearance. There will, however, be a Bronco connection on the court.

University of Michigan Assistant Coach, Bacari Alexander, was an assistant coach at WMU from 2008 to 2010. It was at WMU that Alexander says he decided the "most important aspect in coaching was establishing a superior work ethic within each player."

Currently in his third year at U of M, Alexander played basketball for Robert Morris University before transferring to University of Detroit-Mercy. Post graduation, the Detroit native spent some time as the player's programs coordinator for the Detroit Pistons and went on to play two years with the Harlem Globetrotters.
