In January, Denise Hunt (B.B.A.'98, Management) joined Pentastar Aviation as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the President &CEO. Pentastar Aviation, wholly owned by Edsel B. Ford II, is a leader in the world of business aviation, providing aircraft management, advisory services, aircraft maintenance, avionics services, interior services and award-winning FBO services.
For most of her career, Hunt served in the financial services and never imagined working in the aviation industry, but after just two months she declared it to be 'one of the coolest places to work.' Since coming on board, it has brought back many fond memories of jets roaring and getting an up close experience with the aircraft every year at the Kalamazoo Air show.
As a Bronco, Denise is proud to say that Pentastar also partners with the WMU College of Aviation. Earlier this month, Pentastar began recruiting for spring internship positions during WMU’s “Aviation Outlook Day.” Pentastar has “made a multi-year commitment to extend internships and lend their decades of experience and resources to students enrolled in WMU’s aviation program,” stated a recent Pentastar press release.
Pentastar Aviation has been servicing regional and global travelers for more than 50 years and is headquartered at Oakland County International Airport (PTK).
