During her performances, Beloglavec was seated between two of the most famous trombonists in the world; Michael Mulcahy and Charlie Vernon. But this isn’t the only prideful moment worth mentioning for her.
Beloglavec attended Yale University upon graduating Western and did so under a full fellowship. Beloglavec was one of only two people selected into the Master of Music program; a highly competitive program at Yale. Earlier this year, Beloglavec was awarded the one and only doctoral fellowship in the trombone studio at Northwestern University.
This accolade will present Beloglavec with the opportunity to study the trombone with members of the Chicago Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony, and the Detroit Symphony.
During her time at Western, Beloglavec was the recipient of many awards; the most prestigious of which being the Presidential Scholars Award. Some of her other accomplishments include winning the Yamaha Young Performing Artist Competition, the Gilberto Gagliardi Solo Competition for students 18 and under, and the International Trombone Association solo competition.
