Jacob Siler (BS '09, Exercise Science) recently appeared on an episode of American Ninja Warrior,  a television program on NBC and G4 that boasts the toughest obstacle course in the World. The show, which awards the winning contestant $500,000, originally aired in Tokyo before an American version was created.

The Daily Reporter in Coldwater, Michigan featured the Bronson native, who appeared in an episode on June 25. Finishing 31 out of 200 participants, Siler got to run in the finals as an alternate because another contestant didn't arrive in time for the competition.

Siler currently lives in Georgia where he is studying to become a chiropractor. In the past, he was a gymnastics coach in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo.

The finals of American Ninja Warrior  began on July 8, but if you missed Siler—keep an eye out for him—he plans to give it another go next year.
