Charitable Advising
James Bria (BBA '84, Finance) has been named an Advisory Council member for Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities. Since 1979, the charity has provided support services and temporary housing to families with ill and injured children who must travel to receive treatment at Atlanta area hospitals.

Bria is a finance director of the Georgia and Alabama District at Trane/Ingersoll-Rand. He also holds an MBA from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

The first Ronald McDonald House opened in 1974 in Philadelphia. Since then, the charity has become a globally recognized organization striving to provide family-centered care in order to improve the lives of children by letting them heal with their families nearby. Families are asked to make a small daily donation; those who cannot afford the donation are never turned away.
