Victoria Blade (BA '10, Theater Performance) recently propelled her career by making her television debut on NBC's "Chicago Fire," 15 years after her first stage debut with the Pinckney Players in the Jane Tasch Performing Arts Theatre of Pinckney, Michigan.

In addition to her television debut, Blade was also nominated for a 2013 Equity Jeff Award for original music in a play in 'Spoon River Anthology' at the Provision Theater and was named to Chicago Tribune's list of Hot New Faces of Chicago Theater in 2011. Residing in Chicago, Blade is also currently rehearsing for her first musical there, "Sweet Smell of Success," at Theater Wit.

Blade appeared in the episode 'No Regrets,' which aired in November. "Chicago Fire" showcases the everyday lives of the firefighters, rescue squad members, and paramedics of Chicago Firehouse 50. Blade portrayed the wife of Jeff Clark, the newest fireman.
