The Eaton Corporation is a power management company with several locations throughout Michigan. They work to provide businesses with efficient, safe, and sustainable electrical management. Lima works in the electrical sector of Eaton and said that enabling change has been her path for the last 10 years.
“I still remember the words from Professor Palthe in Change Management class,” Lima said. “To change things, you need courage to initiate and sustain a new status.”
Over the last few years, the Eaton Corporation has been growing, and so has Lima’s professional career. Since she started working at Eaton, Lima has worked as the program manager, the IT manager, and most recently the supply chain manager.
Lima has experience working with companies all over the world, including a recent success in Sweden.
“By consolidating a single database, more global manufacturing capabilities were achieved,” Lima said. “Product data shared across all locations enabled to distribute production across Brazil, Mexico and Poland.”
While attending Western Michigan University, Lima had the opportunity to network with professionals who shared her same experiences in their career field. Lima was also interested in diversity on campus, and was a supporter of the Brazilian Student Society.
