Going to the Super Bowl!

Going to the Super Bowl!
In less than two weeks the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers will go head to head in the Super Bowl. In case you're feeling a little left out, fear not,for as WMU Athletics has pointed out—there are many Bronco ties in Super Bowl XLVII.

Most notably, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh (MA '89, Physical Education), who began his profession as a graduate assistant coaching the Bronco Football team under his father, then head coach, Jack Harbaugh. John was around from 1984-87 (his final season with the Broncos was under then new head coach Al Molde).

There's more…

Kenico Hines served as equipment manager for the Broncos from 2004-11— he joined the Ravens as assistant equipment manager prior to the 2012 campaign.

A former student employee of Hines, Scott Rotier, is the equipment manager for the San Francisco 49ers.

The Ravens' assistant head coach and special teams coach Jerry Rosburg was an assistant with the Broncos from 1987-91 under Al Molde, while the 49ers' wide receivers coach John Morton played at Western Michigan from 1991-92.
