While attending WMU, Shannon Kane was a Gilmore Scholar for Dance, so we already know she's talented, but now she'll have the opportunity to show off her talent to a larger audience. Kane was cast in a new drama series on Nick at Nite called Hollywood Heights.

The Kalamazoo native was spotted during a local talent search—leading to a print model contract with Elite Chicago. From there Kane made the move to LA and started appearing on television on a variety of shows including Entourage, CSI, and All My Children. Kane has also appeared in SWAT: Fire-Fight and Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family. In 2012 she received the Breakthrough Actress award at the Capri International Film Festival for her work in Brooklyn's Finest—in that role she acted with Don Cheadle and Richard Gere.
