While playing for the Bronco Football team, Wysocki was made Second Team All-Mid-American Conference in 1968—he was also an award-winning painter.
After graduation, Wysocki spent some time in the Canadian Football League before signing with the Redskins in 1975. He spent six seasons—playing 88 games— in Washington, making "an art of busting wedges while chasing kickoffs," and becoming known as a special teams "ace".
Sadly, Wysocki passed away several years ago.
