Western Michigan University news and update highlights for November 8 -14, 2013. This week's campus photo features the newly renovated Fountain Plaza near Miller Auditorium.

The plaza area was partially close during the summer for upgrades that include improved accessibility and traffic flow and an inviting area for studying or relaxing.
Bermed lawn panels now rise from behind some 365 feet of curved walls. The walls double as places to sit, and the panels provide additional lawn seating options. In all, 10 more trees and 7,303 more square feet of green space have been added to the plaza. To read more about the history of the plaza or the recent renovations, please click here.
