Western Express 2/7/14
Western Michigan University news and updates for January 31 - February 6, 2014. This week's campus photo features a screen shot taken from the video series, Skating with the Broncos: GLI All Access. In the image, Bronco Hockey team members are practicing on the temporary ice rink in Comerica Park.

For the last two weeks, a series of videos has been released showcasing the Bronco Hockey road to victory at the outdoor Great Lakes Invitational in December, 2013. Skating with the Broncos features everything you couldn't see from the seats—or from your television. As Mat Kanan, director of athletic media relations, describes, "You will also see, and this is what makes episode three the best of the series, how a coach influences an athlete. You get to hear head coach Andy Murray not only pre-game but also in-game and during intermission. His words are epic."
