Western Michigan University news and update highlights for March 14 - 20, 2014. It was an exciting week for the Broncos as both the hockey and men's basketball teams had some big wins. Bronco Basketball won the MAC Championship to earn a #14 seed in the NCAA First Round. The Broncos met #3 Syracuse in Buffalo.
While the Broncos didn't win the match, alumni and fans gathered from New York to LA and just about anywhere in between to cheer on their Broncos. This week's campus photo features students, staff, alumni, and fans watching the game at the Bernhard Center on campus. Check myw.mu/social to view fan photos from our watch parties.
Hockey also had a big win to advance to the Frozen Faceoff, the NCHC semifinals, in Minneapolis on Friday. The game also has several watch parties planned, view the list at mywmu.com/nchc2014 for more information.
