Western Michigan University news highlights and alumni in the news for December 2 – 8, 2016. This week’s campus photo features the Student Recreation Center. The entire West Michigan region, and much of the state, experienced its first winter storm of the season on Thursday, December 8. Another storm is forecast to hit over the weekend, and the campus community is preparing not just for final exams next week, but subzero temperatures and more than a foot of snow.
