Western Michigan University updates and alumni in the news for February 12 – 18, 2016. This week’s campus photo features a night shot of Waldo Library taken in June, 2015. Waldo Library opened its doors in 1958 with open stacks “a welcome relief from the page retrieval system of the old East Campus library” (Brown & Golden Memories, Larry B. Massie). The structure, which includes the University Computing Center, has undergone several renovations and upgrades over the years.
