Western Michigan University news and updates for July 3 – 9, 2015. This week’s campus photo features Fountain Plaza with the Richmond Center for Visual Arts in the background. The fountain and plaza were renovated in 2013.
The WMU Board of Trustees met this week to approve several changes and measures, including formally naming the engineering facility Elson S. Floyd Hall after the University’s sixth President. Floyd passed away June 20, 2015.
The Board also approved the name ‘Heritage Hall’ for the home of the new Alumni Center.
