Western Michigan University news highlights for July 7 – 13, 2017. This week’s campus photo features “Between Theorems” on Parkview Campus. The sculpture depicts Albert Einstein throwing a Frisbee, and was created by Montana artist Jim Dolan. Associate Professor of computer science, Dr. John A. Kapenga and his wife, Karen Woodin, saw the sculpture at the 2012 Grand Rapids Art Prize and decided to gift it to WMU to be installed near the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences in 2014.
