This year’s annual Miller Energy Criterium bike race at Western Michigan University's Business Technology and Research Park will take place Saturday, July 11, and is part of a weekend of cycling activities.
This is the 10th anniversary of the event, and it will include state championship races for women, masters and juniors. Some $6,000 in prizes will be awarded.Frankie Andreu will be the special guest race announcer for the criterium. Andreu competed in the Tour de France nine times and competed in two Olympic Games, placing eighth in 1988 and fourth in 1996.
