Western Michigan University news and alumni in the news for June 17 – 23, 2016. This week’s campus photo features Fountain Plaza with Miller Auditorium in the background. On Saturday, June 25, Miller Auditorium will host the summer commencement ceremony and some 1,200 students will receive their degrees and become WMU alumni. Thirty-one doctoral degrees, 417 master’s degrees, and 821 bachelor’s degrees will be given over two ceremonies for a total of 1,260 graduates. The Office of Development and Alumni Relations will be on hand to welcome new graduates into a community of over 240,000 alumni worldwide.
