Western Michigan University news and updates for September 26 – October 2, 2014. This week’s campus photo features Goldsworth Valley Pond, with the Goldsworth Valley Apartments in the background. The six building apartment complex was dedicated in 1959 to house student families, single graduate students, and students aged 21 or older—and serves the same purpose to this day. Each building has two floors and apartments are available as furnished or unfurnished.

Currently, new housing options for students are under construction. Two state-of-the-art residence halls, which have recently been named Western Heights, will be completed in time for fall 2015. For a closer look at Western Heights, please visit wmich.edu/housing/westernheights
