Bronco Hockey star Danny DeKeyser has had a busy couple of weeks—but just a week after deciding to sign with the Detroit Red Wings, DeKeyser will make his NHL debut appearance. On Friday, April 5, DeKeyser will take the ice with the legendary Red Wings organization at Colorado against the Avalanche. Tune in to see how he does at 9 p.m. ET.

Dekeyser wasn't the only Bronco Hockey Alumni to make the news this week:

The Tampa Bay Lightning and general manager Steve Yzerman have announced the signing of Western Michigan captain Luke Witkowski to a two year contract.  Read more here.

The Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League have announced the signing of Western Michigan Bronco forward Dane Walters to an amateur try out agreement. Read more here.

Walters joins former teammate Matt Tennyson, who signed with the San Jose Sharks after last season and has appeared in 60 games and racked up 27 points this season with Worcester.

Speaking of Tennyson, he made his NHL Debut on Monday, April 1, with the San Jose Sharks, netting an assist. Read more here.
