With the championship comes a berth in the field of 64 teams to compete for the NCAA Women’s College Cup. The Broncos travel to the University of Florida Saturday to take on the second-seeded Gators in the first round. In two previous appearances, WMU has won both first-round matches including the largest upset in College Cup history by defeating second-seeded Marquette in 2013.
The game begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 14. Broadcast coverage of the game is still to be announced. If the Broncos are victorious, they will play the winner of the William & Mary vs. UCF game.
