Best Map Product
National Geographic? U.S. Geological Survey? How about Western Michigan University?

The W.E. Upjohn Center for the Study of Geographical Change at WMU can boast a major accomplishment.  They are creating digital maps at such a high quality, that they were chosen over National Geographic and the U.S. Geological Survey's products, according to the International Map Industry Association's (Americas) conference earlier in October.

WMU was honored with a gold award for Best Digital Map Product of the Year, as well as the Americas Award for the Year’s Overall Most Outstanding Map Product or Service.
