Western Express 11/22/13

Western Michigan University news and update highlights for November 15 - 21, 2013. This week's campus photo features a network of sidewalks near Kohrman Hall. Did you know that there are 39 miles of sidewalk and 26.5 lane miles of roadway on WMU's campus? There are also more than 100 acres of parking lots. When it snows, Landscape Services and contracted heavy equipment operators are responsible for snow removal. Thankfully, a system is in place to keep our campus up and running during the cold, and snowy, Michigan winters. To learn more about Landscape Services, please click here.

The Western Express will take a short break for Thanksgiving, and return Friday, December 6. From all of us at MyWMU.com, Happy Thanksgiving!
