New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Fantasy Author Richelle Mead's (MA '01, Comparative Religion) writing is coming to life for moviegoers. The major motion picture Vampire Academy will be released in theaters on Friday, Feb. 7.

The film will tell the story of two teen girls who attend a hidden boarding school for vampires. Learn more about the PG-13 film here.

Mead, currently living in Seattle, is also author of the Bloodlines, Dark Swan, and Anthologies series, in addition to several others.
