During the video competition, which took place between April 1-15, more than 28,000 votes were cast on videos created by the 2014 Second Nature Climate Leadership Award Finalists.
University of Massachusetts Amherst (MA) came in second with 8,576 votes. Top votes within Carnegie Classifications also went to Gateway Technical College (WI) in the Associate Colleges category, University of Minnesota, Morris (MN) in the Baccalaureate category, Pacific Lutheran University (WA) in the Master's category, and University of Massachusetts Medical School (MA) in the Special Focus category. The Carnegie Classification is a leading framework for identifying institutional diversity in US higher education.
Planet Forward will feature the winning video across its media platforms over the next few months. Additionally, all videos produced by this year's Finalists will be featured at the 2014 ACUPCC Climate Leadership Summit in Boston, October 1-3, 2014.
