Moku Hanga

Moku Hanga
The Georgia Review is recognized as one of America's premier journals for arts and letters. The Summer 2012 issue includes a series of woodblock prints by Mary Brodbeck  (MFA '99, Printmaking) accompanied by an essay of her work.

For the last 15 years, Brodbeck has instructed and facilitated at various Arts Centers and Councils around Michigan. She has also participated as a visiting scholar and lecturer—discussing  moku hanga, traditional methods of Japanese woodblock printmaking. Prior to focusing on art, Brodbeck worked as an industrial designer in the West Michigan office furniture industry.

The Georgia Review is a quarterly publication that has been publishing essays, stories, poems, art, and book reviews for more than 60 years.
