Showcasing Bronco Talent

This year, the Walmart Annual Shareholders Meeting featured the talents of several Broncos. Gold Company alumni Andre Mika and Mike Harvey were involved in the production and arrangement of the show and junior violin major Ariele Macadangdang performed as a soloist – in front of 17,000 attendees.

Mika, Head of Creative at TBA Global, produced the Justin Timberlake-hosted show for Walmart. It is considered one of the largest corporate events of its kind in the world, with thousands of people flying from around the world to attend.  

Harvey helped arrange the global number that featured Macadangdang. Other performers were Take 6, Ladysmith Black Mombazo and a Samba dance troupe. Harvey also sang background vocals for Take 6 on the finale.

Macadangdang’s big moment came after Take 6 opened the 2012 Walmart Global Celebration. She played her violin under the bright lights to an enormous crowd. Other performers included Lionel Richie, the Zac Brown Band and Celine Dion.
