Rhonda Davenport Johnson (BBA ’84, Industrial Marketing; MBA ’93) is the new National Director of Retail Sales and Service for Comerica Bank.

 

A 27-year veteran of Comerica, Davenport Johnson is now responsible for the development and leadership of retail sales and customer service banking activities nationally, including overseeing all banking centers and contact centers. She previously served as the director of the Comerica loan center in Michigan, and has also been a regional manager for one of Michigan’s largest markets.

 

In her new position, Davenport Johnson will focus on banking and contact centers nationally, as well the department of national sales management. She will also focus on developing a strategy around new customer acquisition, expanding existing relationships and strategies that make sure customers remain with Comerica.

 

“I want to continue to help our team focus on revenue growth by attracting new relationships and creating value for our clients. By defining their needs and providing solutions, we can deliver and show the value of being with Comerica. For us, it really is about being a relationship bank and helping people be successful,” she said in an interview with the Dallas Business Journal.
