Western Michigan University news and alumni in the news for December 11-17, 2015. This week’s campus photo features the entrance to campus at Stadium and Oliver. Friday, December 18 brought bands of lake effect snow into Kalamazoo, but not quite as much shown in the image above, which was taken in 2008.

Final exams for the fall 2015 semester have been completed. On Saturday, December 19, some 1,800 students will graduate from WMU. Congratulations, Broncos!

This will be last Western Express of 2015; it will return Friday, January 16, 2016.

 Amy Perzanowski (BBA 01, Accountancy) has been named National Tax Coordinator for UHY Advisors. In this role, Perzanowski will be working with the company's national tax leadership group in implementing national strategies for the UHY tax department encompassing the areas of training, quality and risk management, thought leadership, software evaluation and implementation and overall best practices.  
Joe Harvey (BBA '10, Sales and Business Marketing) was recently promoted to the position of Regional Sales Manager for TAPCO (Traffic & Parking Control Co., Inc.) of Brown Deer, WI.
