Western Michigan University news and alumni in the news for January 8 – 14, 2016. This week’s campus photo features the Goldsworth Valley Residence Halls in the distance and was taken from near the parking lot behind Sangren Hall.

Students arrived back on campus for the start of the new semester on January 11, only to be met with winter weather that dropped about 10 inches of snow on Kalamazoo and brought chilly temps over the course of the week.
