Western Michigan University news and alumni in the news for January 15 – 21, 2016. This week’s campus photo features the North Hall facade on East Campus. Originally built in 1925, North Hall was most known for its reading room and as the original home of (what is now known as) the Haworth College of Business. The marble and a 14,500 lb. limestone fireplace were salvaged from the structure and can now be found in Heritage Hall.

Today, the facade is part of the Grand Lawn surrounding Heritage Hall, and is intended to be incorporated into events held there.
