This just in from alumnus Mark Stoner (BS ’78, Communication Arts & Sciences), who shared an image of the prime spot he had to watch the Super Bowl. As an employee of the San Francisco 49ers at Levi Stadium, Mark was in attendance on February 7 for Super Bowl 50--he even got to watch the halftime show at field level.
“From right before half time to the end of the game this was my view of the half time show and game… standing next to the CBS camera man. Can't get a much better spot to view the Super Bowl.”
Mark works for the National Football League (NFL) on a contract basis and was a manager for their NFL House, the NFL headquarters in San Francisco, during the week before the Super Bowl. He has also worked for the NFL as a Fan Mobile Pass Brand Ambassador, introducing the app to new users and demonstrating features of the app at the NFL Kickoff event to Super Bowl 50 and other marketing support.
Mark has worked for the 49ers since Levi Stadium opened in 2014 and works 49ers games, special events, and concerts including Taylor Swift, The Grateful Dead, Kenny Chesney, One Direction, and others. He will be working at Levi Stadium when Beyoncé comes back to perform in May.
Mark is also pictured at left with some San Francisco 49ers trophies.
