Western Michigan University news and alumni in the news for July 15 – 21, 2016. This week’s MyWMU campus photo features an undated image of students gathered near the former Paul V. Sangren Hall. The building was completed in 1964 and was originally home to the college of education in addition to the art, history, political science, and economics departments. In 2010, ground was broken for a new, state-of-the-art facility, also named for WMU’s second President. The new Sangren Hall welcomed students in the fall of 2012, and houses many programs for the College of Education and Human Development.
