Since its first edition in 1916, the Western Herald has become a staple of student life, campus, and alumni memories at Western Michigan University. Over the years, the paper has seen many changes in terms of technology; stories are now published online as well as in print, and shared via social media; but it has also seen many changes in terms of physical appearance. Below is a sampling of how the Western Herald has looked over the years.
Digitized versions of the Western Herald are available through the WMU Archives and Regional History Collections. Learn more here.
