    Non-Marketing Data Requests

    All Dean’s offices at WMU now have Salesforce access and training to support their departments with alumni and donor reference requests. Routing these requests through the specific Dean’s office ensures departments use the most accurate and up-to-date data.

    If you have a request of this nature, please start with your contact within your Dean’s/VP office. If you're unsure who your contact is, please email Laura Wichers (laura.wichers@wmich.edu) to get connected with a trained representative.

  • Each academic college can participate in a monthly e-newsletter program tailored to its alumni audience. You provide some content, and we do the rest! Here’s how it works:

       • You submit specific stories from your unit (e.g., student spotlights, alumni highlights or college news) via a provided form. 

       • We combine your content with general WMU updates (e.g., alumni events, University news) to create a polished and engaging e-newsletter. 

       • Customized to reflect your college’s brand, this e-newsletter is then sent exclusively to alumni and friends of your college.

  • Step 1: Download this Excel file and find the G/L code for your designation(s) in column D.

    Step 2: Replace the "ZZZZZ" in this URL with your 4-6 digit code:
    https://secure.wmualumni.org/s/give?funds=ZZZZZ

    Step 3: To pre-populate your cart with multiple designations, separate the G/L codes with a "+" (no spaces). Example: A cart pre-populated with three Miller Auditorium designations would use: https://secure.wmualumni.org/s/give?funds=PMIL+P525+WMIL

    Ordering: If you’re pre-populating multiple designations, you can place the G/L codes in the order you’d like them to display in the cart. Using the example above: placing "P525" before "PMIL" will list "P525" first in the cart.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: If you would like to track the dollars raised by the link, please submit a request for a QR Code/Giving link through the request form. University Advancement can provide a QR Code and also track the dollars raised by it. While a link not created by University Advancement will work, the dollars generated by that link cannot be tracked.
