Shaina Barry (BS '09, Psychology) has joined Little Star Center as Program Manager. In this capacity, she is responsible for developing and implementing appropriate programs, behavior plans and goals for learners; assisting with new staff training; and collaborating with parents to determine needed skills and behaviors to be addressed. Previously, Barry served as direct care worker for All-Ways Care Services in Michigan and as a graduate assistant counselor at Project 12-Ways at Southern Illinois University. She received a Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from Southern Illinois University. While at WMU, she worked as a behavioral technician with Croyden Avenue School and Kalamazoo Autism Center. She also worked at the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders as a graduate clinician.
Lindsay Erdmann (BS '10, Psychology; MA '12, Applied Behavior Analysis) has joined Little Star Center as Program Manager. In this capacity she is responsible for developing and implementing appropriate programs, behavior plans and goals for learners; assisting with new staff training; and collaborating with parents to determine skills needed and behaviors to be addressed. Erdmann comes to Little Star from Michigan where she served as a paraprofessional at Oakland Academy. She has worked as a therapist in an early childhood special education classroom and has experience working in an elementary school. While in graduate school, Erdmann worked as a verbal behavior senior system manager through the Behavior Analysis Training System (BATS) and at Woods Edge Learning Center as a case coordinator and supervisor.
Kristy Oddo (BS '09, Psychology; MA '11, Applied Behavior Analysis) has joined Little Star Center as Program Manager. In this capacity, she is responsible for developing and implementing appropriate programs, behavior plans and goals for learners; assisting with new staff training; and collaborating with parents to determine skills needed and behaviors to be addressed. Previously, Oddo served as a training coordinator at an autism center, at several organizations in Michigan including: Oakland Academy as a paraprofessional, at Wood’s Edge Learning Center and Kalamazoo Autism Center as case coordinators, and at Croyden Avenue School as a behaviorial technician. In these roles, she implemented discrete trial instruction, oversaw therapy implementation, and created bi-weekly staff training.
Taylor Barker (BS '08, Psychology; MA '11, Applied Behavior Analysis) has been promoted by Little Star Center to Assistant Clinical Director. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing learner program development, assessing and implementing applied behavior analysis (ABA) behavior plans, reviewing skill acquisition programs and behavior guidelines and creating transition plans for children as they exit the program. Barker joined Little Star as a program manager in spring 2011. Graduate work positions included serving as case coordinator, graduate supervisor, and behavior technician at Croyden Avenue School/Woods Edge Learning Center.
