SpeechMasterPro Has People Talking

SpeechMasterPro Has People Talking
Daniel Floyd may only be in his sophomore year at Western Michigan University, but he’s already doing big things in the business world. Floyd is the inventor of the SpeechMasterPro, a device that helps to improve speech – and it’s really got people talking.

The SpeechMasterPro is a device that the user puts into their mouth to practice speaking normally. The device helps open the soft palate and forces the inner articulators to work harder. Floyd invented the SpeechMasterPro while only a junior in high school, but received help as a freshman at Western from Starting Gate; a program that tests students’ business ideas and provides mentorship from the business community.

Floyd was the first and only freshman to be asked to join WMU’s Starting Gate business accelerator program. He is not only the inventor of the SpeechMasterPro, but also a user. Floyd has suffered from a speech impediment since birth, and uses the device daily.

“Practicing with the SpeechMasterPro gave my speech the extra clarity that I needed to be a clearer and confident speaker,” Floyd said in an interview with Voice Over Times. “It was interesting; I noticed that people did not have difficulty understanding me. Their body language was different.”

While the device can be used to help with speech impediments, it has also been a big hit with public speaking and the voice-over community. Professional voice-over actors have used the SpeechMasterPro to warm up and improve voice clarity.
