Mr. Wilcox received a master's degree from Columbia University. A pianist and conductor, he gained prominence as a producer of classical recording for RCA Victor Red Seal from 1958 through 1974.
In 1974, he became an independent producer/engineer for major labels. His productions have won fifteen Grammy awards and received a high order of international recognition.
