Jeannette Veatch, B.A. '37

Dr. Veatch received master's and doctoral degrees from New York University. In the late 1940s, she helped prepare teachers in Washington, D.C., for desegregation.

She was a professor at Pennsylvania State University, Jersey City State College and Arizona State University.

An author of several textbooks, she produced an internationally distributed videotape series for teachers, exemplifying the learner-centered educational philosophy.
