Mr. Holden began his career in the auto industry as a systems analyst with the Ford Motor Company. In 1981, he accepted the position of fleet development manager-truck operations with the Chrysler Corporation.
After a series of promotions, including two vice presidencies, he was appointed executive vice president, one of only six in the corporation, for sales and marketing in 1996.
